There are so many stories and so many dramatic headlines about the Rochester City School District that it can be easy to lose sight of what truly matters, the children!
Their whole school experience is impacted by the chronic underfunding of the district. Day after day, year after year, they sit in classrooms which do not have the same resources as students sitting less than 8 miles away in the Greater Rochester Suburbs. Some of those RCSD students face the most enormous barriers to success and yet there are services to help them, if we will only invest in them.
